Better Business “Gasell 2008”

The 3rd of December, the Market leader of Mystery Shopping in the Nordic countries, AB Better Business World Wide, was nominated as one of the Swedish “gazells” 2008. All the nominated companies were published ceremoniously in attendance with H.M King Carl XVI Gustaf.

“Gasell 2008” has: doubled their turnover during 2004-2007, a turnover over 10 MSEK, more than 10 employees and an annual profit. Less than 0,5% of the Swedish companies qualify to be a “gazelle”. All together, “Gasell 2008” has employed more than 30.000 people since 2004, according to Dagens Industri, the leading business magazine in Sweden. Dagens Industri, has nominated the “gazelles” since 2001.

Better Business’ turnover has increased by 651% during 2004-2007 and ended up at 23rd place on the list of the “gazelles” in the Stockholm area and 55th place among the “gazelles” in Sweden. Better Business is still increasing in a positive direction and is employing more co-workers.

Better Business is a role model for many companies in the Mystery Shopping industry and has 20 qualified co-workers at the office in Vallentuna, over 45.000 Mystery Shoppers and has carried out assignments in more than 50 countries. Better Business has published several books about Mystery Shopping and during 2009; there are more books to be published, in Japanese and in Chinese among others. Better Business’ vision is to be world champions at Mystery Shopping.

During the recession our focus will be to handle the increased requirements on Mystery Shopping, since, with increased competition the greater the need of the services provided by Better Business. Also, to continue to develop and enhance the routines to optimize effectiveness and meet the objectives on satisfied customers.

What is Mystery Shopping?

Mystery Shopping is when anonymous customers evaluate a company’s concept and services. The Mystery Shoppers are trained to act like real customers to conduct, evaluate and report how the company lives up to its standards and goals through visits in shops, phone calls, inquiries, reservations etc.
