Great interest for the
Mystery Shopping Day 2011

On the 27th of January, The seventh edition of the Mystery Shopping Day gathered approximately 150 people at enrich Berns in Stockholm . From the agenda: A Case Study with Clas Ohlson – performing a wide mystery shopping program with visits, mystery calls, mystery web and exit interviews in 4 countries in order to increase customer satisfactory. One of the highlights where the prize ceremony of Superb Service. The companies receiving most number of Superb Service grades during 2010 are:

Hotel Diplomat won the grand
SSQ Award 2010

The prize ceremony of SSQ Award 2010 took place during the Mystery Shopping Day on the 27th of January at Berns. Hotel Diplomat in Stockholm won the grand Award as well as the prize for “Best Business Hotel”. Comwell Varbergs Kurort won the prize “best conference hotel” with overnight stay. The distributor of prizes was the chairman of the SSQ jury, Mr Jan Stenberg.

Mystery Shopping at tourist offices- Gothenburg won the test.

On behalf of the monthly magazine Travel News, Better Business has performed Mystery Shopping at the tourist offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. It was a close match between the three units. The tourist office in Gothenburg got the highest points in the test followed by Stockholm and then Malmö.

Lina Schölin, International Business Manager has come into position of assistant General Manager for the company. Lina has a diploma in business management from IHM Business school and a diploma in project management from Idékraft in Uppsala.

Service report from Sao Paolo, Brazil

Recently, Veronica Boxberg Karlsson owner of Better Business, participated in an international Mystery Shopping conference in Sao Paolo. Of course, Veronica also spend some time checking out the local shopping and service level in the city.

“Since I have heard, during a long time, that the Brazilian economy is developing fast it was really exciting to visit the country and to see that the Brazilian people is very skilled at service. Among others I visited a shopping center in three levels. In the parking area, the visitors could choose between parking their own car or to let the car be taken care of by “Valet parking”. In every store, big or small, the clients were invited to sit down to go through their needs by the staff behind computers. "
